Ooh, now I’m really curious! I didn’t know that those bodies took dye so well.

They do okay. I tried dying a yellow figure to black and at best it went grey. Cap went a dark blue. 

Don’t just leave your figure boiling though. I’ve seen people do this on Youtube and I was screaming at them. You sort of dip them in the dye then cool it down in cold water so the figure doesn’t warp and melt out of shape.

Impressive! I like how the star is gouged out, and the sort of less-dyed spots that show it was the original suit dyed black.

It turned out like that because I actually dyed his body! Then I painted the black parts in because it wasn’t dark enough for me.
