of people tell me I look like Captain America (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I’m a vigilante (in case you couldn’t
tell) and I wear mostly black. For example today I was wearing black armor that definitely didn’t used to have a star on it, black gloves, and
black combat boots. I was lurking in the shadows. A lot of Children of Thanos stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.
IKR? I was a bit disappointed when I saw the full concept art and that I realized they kept the red and white stripes, I thought they would go “full black”, a bit like in the Civil War concept art (he should have worn this suit at the beginning of the movie during the fight with Rumlow)
But Marvel said “Nope” and wanted Cap to keep his red, white and blue colors. Apparently, the blue suit from The Winter Soldier was already too much for them xD Anyway, the new suit looks like a dyed version of the Civil War one except for the shoulder straps (not sure of the word). They are a bit different in Infinity War according to the concept art
But yeah, I wish the suit was completely black Thanks a lot for enjoying my work anon, it’s very kind of you ♥
Different shoulder buckle for sure. But I think the straps are different too. DX But why are they still brown!

This wouldn’t be the first instance of Steve meticulously unpicking adornments off his uniform when he’s feeling grumpy (see also: how Steve appears with the little Avengers A on his suit sleeve at the start of cacw, and at some point sat there picking the stitches off so he could remove it, because it’s pointedly missing later on) so this seems plausible to me.
Never underestimate Steve’s seamster skills
Actually looking at it again it’s the Civil War suit but… dyed black? STEVE HAS FINALLY REACHED HIS EMO PHASE.
On seeing a more detailed shot of the poster I can even see where he’s gouged out the Avengers symbol on his shoulder.
._. I think the suit may have taken the brunt of Steve’s anger. D: He could have just painted over it?
