You can save all your posts with these instructions
I’ll do it too just to be safe, I honestly don’t remember what I’ve posted here over the years.

You can also import a copy of your blog into wordpress. YMMV if you have a huge amount of posts.

Oh thanks!! This is also a good one!! In case the first doesn’t work or you don’t have the memory for a whole zip of your blog~

Tiny Bucky on the Exodus

😦 This is shit.

I don’t think TinyBuckyLife has any adult content on it and I don’t plan to in future but I’m for people having the ability to have adult content on their blogs. Tumblr are treating their users very poorly and deleting blogs with very little notice or ability to defend themselves. Some of the content that is being censored is not even adult in nature but would appear “weird” to people which is why I think this is just an excuse to make the site more advertiser friendly.

This blog was really meant to be a fun and low energy outlet for me which is why I don’t really have an alternate blog for the tiny life. If I moved I’d have to reupload everything from the start or begin anew. I did make an instagram account under the same name but I haven’t uploaded anything. I liked the community here. 😦 To be honest I don’t really know where to go if I had to leave.

From someone who’s survived MySpace, livejournal, deviantart, and fanfiction.nets’ content purges and bad policy updates, here’s some advice on how to get through tumblr’s recent bullshit:

– don’t knee jerk delete. I know it’s tempting to peace out immediately but hang on and do the other steps first. Out right ghosting and erasing everything is how fandoms die.

– archive everything on your blog you want to keep

– tell your followers how they can archive and keep your work too. A lot of fic and art were only saved from ff.net and lj because other people saved it first. If you’re cool with other people saving your work for them to personally keep, let them know this. You can absolutely discourage reposting but I really do highly recommend you allow people to personally save fic and art they like and are worried will disappear forever. Digital Dark Ages are a real thing.

– tell people where you’re jumping ship to. Give links. Keep that info up, even if you’ve left the site.

– go through who you follow and find out where else you can follow them. Save their work if they’ll allow it. It’s tedious as hell but if you want to keep up with people on here clicking on their page to check in is the best way to do it.

– support places like ao3. This is exactly why ao3 asks for donations a few times a year. They are a 100% anti-purging, judgement free, ad free non profit run by an elected board and protected by lawyers. Places like ao3 literally save fandom so please continue to support them and other similar archives. This is exactly why ao3 is so important.

For example, here’s a post that explains and links for how to back up your blog

Also, go read the source policies and official Tumblr statements in addition to user analyses and reactions. It’s important to keep abreast of developments over time; staying informed is your power in this situation. Memes and reaction posts are funny and are a useful way to vent / provide commentary, but some of them create an inaccurate picture of what’s happening and should not be taken as evidence on their own of what developments have happened.

FINALLY THE INFINITY WAR BUCKY AND SAM TWOPACK IS HERE!

(August ETA MY ASS)

Truthfully the new Bucky is the main reason I got this pack. The new vibranium arm is beautiful. His gold gun… is something I guess. Standout feature is the more life like skin tone and the face printing tech. He has the exact same head sculpt as the Civil War figure which means his hair is still incorrect which is disappointing. He has a new body sculpt which they made slimmer for some reason even though I’m pretty sure Sebastian Stan just keeps getting bulkier each Marvel movie. He is also slightly shorter by virtue of his boots being slightly less chunky.

Sam is…. Sam is exactly the same figure from Civil War with a better paint application. Which is disappointing as he never got an alternate head or a flying version of redwing… like his 3.75 inch version did for some strange reason. Otherwise the figure is a slight improvement with more paint details on his shirt and a little bit on his face. This figure is good for people who weren’t able to get Falcon previously.

All in all I love my new Bucky figure but am slightly irritated I’m also buying a Sam figure I have that is almost exactly the same. He gets a nice gun?
