Tiny Pics for the Tiny Fam (ALSO FLAGGED)

Sorry this is YET ANOTHER post that is not about the Tinys but I like to share the things I’m working on. Today it is some tiny accessories for the Tiny house.

If you don’t know I have an extensive but eclectic collection of Re-ments which are Japanese Miniatures that usually come in small sets. You can buy individual blind boxes which I sometimes do but sometimes it is cheaper just to buy entire sets.

So I do.

I have this set:

Petit Sample – Haikara Taisho Roman Tei

And today we will focus on Set 3: Monokaki wa neru mae no nikka

And recently purchased this:

Moomin Warm House Nuku Nuku Fuyugomori (I know nothing of Moomins and care nothing for them but THIS SET IS SO APPROPRIATE FOR THE SEASON)

Look to Set 4: Danro no soba ni wa

And we measure things. And we select a few photos and we print them.

And we print this (this page is A4 sized):

And we print multiple sizes because measuring accurate in miniature is DIFFICULT. Also sometimes the printer is weird or

Shit happens.

I made the size I thought was accurate and then made sizes smaller and bigger. As you can see from the results it can vary.

Then we find the size that is appropriate.

And we cut them as accurately as possible. A good pair of paper scissors is important. Here is mine:

AND THEN WE HAVE PHOTOS

Don’t worry if they fall out just use a teeeeeny tiiiiinnny bit of blu tak to hold them in place.

Proof: This was bought last weekend in the Clink Prison Museum shop in London. Sadly the two cuffs and chain don’t even move, they’re all stiff.

I can confirm this to be true which is whyI’m now buying all groceries at Coles

Also that moment at a vintage market where I was sorely tempted to buy a vase despite having no interest in vases. Even with that price tag.
