I finally completed Okoye! I finally had the money and my local toy distributor had a sale so I finished her! 

I do not have the new Black Panther because I’m waiting for the MBaku wave one which looks much better. I prefer the Civil War suit but the unmasked head is very generic and he’s not very poseable and falls over a lot due to being top heavy. 

Okoye is stunning! And Kilmonger’s figure is actually quite fun to pose due to butterfly shoulder joints. Which also makes him the only one who can almost cross arms to shout “Wakanda forever!”

Shuri Figure

After seeing the movie I did actually fall in love with Shuri’s character which again reminded me of my annoyance of her not having a proper MCU Marvel Legends figure. So I settled on the next best thing

Here is my figure with really badly painted eyes. This involved 7 shops and two suburbs to get her.

I like her cat paw accessories but I feel like while all the details of the suit are there (wrong colours of course) the overall silhouette isn’t great and her waist cape is really lacking although it does look similar to the concept art.

She also has no knee articulation and a T joint at her hips (meaning her legs can only go backwards and forwards)

Overall I feel it has a passing resemblance to the character with some good accessories and sculpt details (though I dislike the overall shape of the figure). I mainly bought her for the cat paws and her head which I will hopefully use to custom her up a body in future.
